Customer Centric Organisations ( R they a Myth )

Becoming customer-centric means looking at an enterprise from the outside-in rather than the inside-out— that is, through the lens of the customer rather than the producer . Its about understanding what problems customers face in their lives and then providing mutually advantageous solutions. These solutions are the key options which provide you a “Sustainable Competitive Advantage” which in long term assures Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty add them up and you would get “A POTENTIAL FORTUNE 500”.

To become a successful Customer-Centric Organisation the organisation must follow the following working style:

• They are there When You Need Them, Yet Not Bugging you.
• Synchronize with the Customer's Buying Process (Be Him)
• Accountability for Customer Perception of Value (Understand Him)
• Providing What Customers Really Want (Deliver Him)

For companies to stay relevant and viable , they must decide their market, and fully fill that market's needs in all dimension. For Airtel, it may be service; for Apple, it may be product; for BIG BAZZAR, it may be price. But in the end management must decide and act before the competition senses the move and initiates the attack.

Truly customer centric companies use direct marketing techniques to go where their customers are with interesting and provocative offers.
They do it by researching the market carefully and by systematically testing every promotion and campaign. They use permission-based methods, such as newsletters and free E-mails, to nurture relationships, educate their prospects, and be on their mind when the time is right.

To achieve a sustainable growth everyone company has to look towards the existing or prospective customers and design the business model towards their needs. In software industry we can se few companies like IBM, TechMahindra, Cisco who have increased their revenues by serving the existing customers with new tools and business models. In fact some of these companies bank on their USP of being Customer Centric Entity.

Truly customer centric companies worry about ensuring that their customers actually receive the value they were looking for. They go out of their way to uncover customer's problems and solve them. Also a Customer-Centric Organisation would worry about helping their customers at every stage of their Buyer's Journey not just the one where money changes hands. This enables them to reduce their cost of sales phenomenally, because they can measure the value created by the actions customers take (As it is a give and take relationship).

India 2010 : A Scamsters Paradise

Our great nation has been called a 3rd world country at couple of so called " Multinational Conferences "  we were mocked we were underestimated and we were denied an equal status , but there year 2010 ( Year of Tiger acc. to Chinese Zodiac ) came as an eye-opener or should I say a tight slap on the face of these "Developed Nations".

When these Developed esteem Economies were facing a Dire situation ( yeah baby m talking about "THE RECESSION" ) our great Mother India was making Big Bucks not only for the public but also for our "HONEST" politicos. Some of the popular name that were in limelight were ( Mr.Kalmadi and Mr.Raja ) made a killing out of common man`s hard earned income.A fun fact here " The total toll of scam that happened in 2010 is  enough to run entire African Continent for a decade ".On one hand where the 2G spectrum scam was pegged at Rs. 1.76 lakh crore , the Corruption Wealth Scam ( Common wealth ) looted India for Rs.70000 Crore.Did you know Indian Economy Model is now formally included in syllabus of many Top Business Schools and Economic Forums.

I wonder if all that money had been invested into right cause say as an Injection into our economy , the multiplier effect would have given us enough Dough ( MONEY ) with a total of more than Rs 3 lakh crore ( approx ) that we just lost to these scamsters our great nation is still making more money then ever , we are getting International Deals , Global recognition and what not ......ICING on the cake even the most powerful man on earth ( USA President ) is asking us to make "JOBS" for his country.

I don`t think any nation would now have an audacity to call us a 3rd World Economy.

The Social Network : Movie Review

" Awesome " is the word that comes to mind post experiencing this cinematic genius.Watching Documentaries n Biographies is never " FUN "  but what if a great Biography is made into an even greater Flick.....This is what The Social Network is and this is what it delivers.Director David Fincher has made some very good films in past ( Fight Club, etc ) but this one out does it all.Focusing upon the life of Social Network Genius "Mark Zukerberg".

This movie glues you to the seat for entire 2 hrs , just grab a pack of Cheese Balls and a pitcher of Thums-up ( if you are being supervised ) or else indulge into a Six-Pack and I shit you not these 2 hours will make you say "Awsome" more than once. The story revolves around a Harvard Boy with a vision to revolutionize "The Social Network" starting off with mere $1000 and reaching an estimated worth of $25 Billion is what this movie is all about.

Jesse Eisenberg ( The boy from Zombieland ) does a phenomenal job of playing Mark Zukerberg with his spontaneous yet classy " Sarcastic Knee-slappers " embedded deep into his dialouges. The overall experience of this movie was something that I started my review with ( @ww-Some ).The best one-liner for me was " I am The CEO , bitch "

Now to rate it I ll say : 8.5 outta 10

Kingfisher Ultra : Beer Review

Ok so now that India has opened its doors wide to International Beer Giants the problems of Indian Beer Barons has increased 4 folds ( I mean u all HORSE PISS makers ) , with  brands like Budweiser n Carlsberg n Corona making a BUZZ ( get it !! ) in Indian Market , India just became a better place to live.Well for past half a decade of my life I have enjoyed this great bounty of Our Lord ( lol ) and finally I found a Indian Beer Brand dat stood up and retaliated against this " FLANK - ATTACK " by International Beer Giants.

Kingfisher Ultra is Indian version of THE Great Corona , priced @ Rs 50 for 330 ml bottle , the brand is trying to target masses with a " Trendy " transparent bottle displaying " Liquid Gold " inside which makes ur eyes glow like ......GOLLUM  from Lord of the Rings ( my precious !! ).The bottle comes with a Pull-bottle cap which I feel was a rip-off version of Tuborg , unlike Tuborg  the cap broke off mid way ( Forcing me to use the DESI - Jugaad ).Almost every Beer pint would cost you Rs 50 at-least now a days , so spend it WISE.

Now to rate it I ll say : ( outta 10 )

Hops : 7 ( Some light hop flavor in the finish with just enough bitterness to balance the malt )

Smoothness : 8

Bottle Design : 9.5

Overall : 8 outta 10

With a Plate of MoMo`s ( mmm mmm ) this stuff is Heavenly . Drink Responsibly :)
